Plan a visit to the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary nearby Hickory Corners, Michigan! It’s a fantastic spot to see animals all year round. We loved visiting during a sunny, winter day to see all the ducks, swans, and other waterfowl hanging out.
Two years ago, my family and I traveled to Kalamazoo after we learned there is a reindeer herd there. Yes – reindeer! Then last winter, we returned and spent a day in nearby Hickory Corners taking advantage of all the great holiday features there. Now, after returning to the area for a third holiday season, it’s safe to say our family HIGHLY recommends a family holiday getaway to Kalamazoo! Perhaps, this is our new tradition?
