East Hills and Eastown are two popular neighborhoods located next to each other within Grand Rapids. Both neighborhoods are on Wealthy Street, which is a bustling street filled with small, independent shops, restaurants, and businesses. Because there is so much to do here, I recently took a day trip to East Hills and Eastown to check it out. This day trip is perfect for a girls day out, day date, or even a parent-child bonding outing.
Kalamazoo is one area my family hasn’t explored much of recently. After doing some research, I discovered Vicksburg, a town south of Kalamazoo, has a free historic village. Now that Winston is walking, we’re trying to find interesting places outdoors to allow him to safely explore. At the same time, I wanted to pop into downtown Kalamazoo and walk around a little bit since the weather on this particular day was gorgeous. Rockford is a beautiful community located about 20 minutes north of Grand Rapids. Known for its natural beauty and picturesque downtown, there are plenty of things to do in Rockford. If you’re searching for a place to visit with lots of outdoor activities, Rockford is a great destination.
