Visiting the Keweenaw Peninsula with a toddler or young kids is not as scary as it may seem. Sure, you may be far from many simple luxuries one rarely thinks about like cell phone service (in some places) and rest stops with actual toilets, but the Keweenaw is not as rustic as I initially imagined it.
