Weekend Getaway to Alma & St Louis, Michigan

It’s been awhile since we last explored Michigan’s interior. And recently, I’ve been craving a change of scenery so I started looking for a unique place to visit. Then, an opportunity popped up to go on a weekend getaway to Alma & St Louis, Michigan. How could I say no?

Day Trip to Ludington

Ludington is another gorgeous town on Michigan’s west coast boarding Lake Michigan. While a day trip to Ludington is perfect if you live not too far, I highly recommend an overnight stay or two as there’s a lot to explore here. Ludington is a town I frequently visited in the summer with friends growing up so it’s always fun returning to see familiar favorites (hello House of Flavors), and new things!

Also, this day trip is perfect in any season, but we visited during the spring.
